Habitat for Humanity -- New Date!
UUCSF has been scheduled to volunteer for Habit for Humanity on Saturday April, 12. More details will be available later -- so check back. If you'd like to sign up, drop an email to uucsfsjc@gmail.com.
To fulfill our congregational mission, the Social Justice Committee will facilitate actions leading to greater equity, justice and compassion. We will identify, nurture and support initiatives to mobilize the congregation to action informed by UU values, beliefs and history.

About Us
The UUCSF Social Justice Committee meets the first Monday of every month at 7pm. Any member wishing to attend may do so. Any member wishing to present a proposal for consideration by the committee may do so at 6:45pm. The officers of the committee will take the information under consideration and present it to the committee as time permits on future agendas.
The committee is working primarily from the “Rochester Model” in pursuing the social justice commitment of the congregation. This means that the bulk of the work done will take place through sanctioned task forces voted on by the congregation. A copy of information about this model will be placed in the library. Information will include directions for forming a task force and proposing it to the SJC and congregation. Additionally the committee will serve as a clearinghouse and connecting point for social justice activities that members wish to share with others and to facilitate linkages with other faith group and community efforts.

Registration ends 28 days before each election and resumes the following Monday. You may register at the Santa Fe County Clerks Office, the Secretary of State’s Office, and at Motor Vehicle Division offices. For more information go to www.sos.state.nm.us.
